AP Latin Workbooks
Research teams and publishers have developed many versions of workbooks adapted specifically for the AP Latin exam. However, since there has been a substantial change in the AP coursework starting from 2025 (the removal of Caesar's Gallic Wars and the addition of more selections from Pliny's Letters), we should pay extra attention on choosing the up-to-date version of our workbooks.
Latin Language Books
While AP workbooks are very helpful and time-saving, general textbooks for the Latin language may be a better choice for beginners. These books, although not focusing on the AP exam, can introduce us to the language and help us understand the intricate grammar, syntax and diction of Latin texts.
